The Virginia Israel Advisory Board’s (VIAB) mission is to serve as the bridge for Israeli companies who want to establish and/or expand their business in the USA and locate in Virginia. We do this by opening doors using the right contacts and providing the best support to help grow their U.S. business.
With Virginia’s proximity to the nation’s center of power, Washington, DC, there is easy access to the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, Homeland Security, the Pentagon, and a vast number of other Federal agencies. Ralph Robbins, Executive Director
Ralph Robbins, an entrepreneur for over 20 years in Israel and the U.S., serves as Executive Director … and your liaison. He knows what needs to be done to help a business succeed — creating new ties, forging new links and expanding new horizons — in both the U.S. and Israel.
“It all starts by putting people together. With the encouragement and backing of Virginia’s Governor, VIAB can accelerate the process of networking between people and businesses who share a common interest,” says Mr. Robbins.
Mr. Robbins was the founder and CEO of a private hospital in Israel, the American Medical Center. He has also developed and managed other medical businesses including a chain of dental clinics and an international IVF program. He was an international business consultant and worked in a Madison Avenue advertising and marketing company.
Mr. Robbins received a BA degree from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the Wharton School.
